Skimmimg through this pi$$ing contest got me to thinking about
something. How come it is that in all the hours I've spent on diesel tractors chugging from one fence line to the othe and back with the stack from that old 3-jug John Deere about 4 feet in front of my face I never the smell or the soot? Surely if smelled as bad as being stuck behind a municple bus in traffic even I would have noticed it! Another reason to live in Colorado. Not even a tremor since I have been
there, and just enough geo-thermal action to fuel a few hot springs for the tourists. There are, of course, four or five avalanche chutes visible from my house, but to my knowledge no one in recorded history has been caught in one. Unless you count the Town Trustee who got a DUI last spring, for walking around on top of a fresh slide, too stubborn to back off when the road crew told him it wasn't safe. Earle "L.W. I'm surprised that some of them don't turn gay women straight. Why, if they don't like men, would they so hard to BE one? It's just something I have wondered many times. |
