t-case drop-do i need it?
I have a '94 YJ and recently added/ replaced the suspension. the jeep is
from MN originally, so I have a bit of under body rust. the kit came with
transfer case dropping brackets for the skid plate. the suspension kit was
only a 1 1/2" lift. I haven't noticed any ware on the u-joints or shaft so I
haven't put the t-case lowering brackets in, and haven't had a problem
yet..........
my question is, do I need to lower the t-case with only a 1 1/2" lift.
thanks.

Re: t-case drop-do i need it?
If you aren't getting any driveline vibes, I don't think I'd lower the
transfer case. I had to drop mine about half an inch or so after
installing ~2" lift on my TJ though.

You usually only have to do it on 2" or more.
