stuck in a swamp
Last weekend I got highcentered in the middle of a swamp trail and had to
wade out and winch myself out. The water came to the tops of my 33's... I
got it home and after the initial hosing off the mud noticed later that I
had a small oil leak between my manual tranny and engine block. (01 TJ)
I know that I'm gonna change the diff fluids and transfer case fluids, but
should I go ahead and take care of the tranny fluid AND engine oil? I'm
hoping that the water mixed with the oil is raising the level somewhere and
oil is seeping out just because of that. I suppose I'll know after I change
it, but I've never had this thing stuck that deep before and I wanna know
everything I should do to it in case I'm forgetting something. Any extra
tips on doing the job would be good too
