Re: stock exhaust pipe size
I think the stock size is 1 7/8ths or something like that. In any case it's
under 2.
It doesn't matter if you are simply going to match the header all of the way
back. I would get a good low restriction muffler to make your Jeep quiet.
The exhaust note should be a low rumble that is sweet and pleasant under
power, but silent with a slight gurgle while idling.
Frankly, I do not understand your opposition to a cat, other than the cost
and you might not be required to have one so spending the money is a waste.

Just go visit the local Mom&Pop Muffler store in your town. They will
fabricate you something that is hands down better than anything you can get
on the 'net. And, if there is a diner near by, you can get breakfast while
