Sticker vs Invoice
Test drove a '04 Electric Lime Green Rubi this week. Nice but it takes a
while for the color to grow on ya. Today the dealer also just received a red
one. Sticker on the red one is about $500 under the ELG color, but nowhere
have they said anything about a price reduction other than the current
offered rebates which are $1K instant cash back and $1K on CFB(Chrysler
Financial Bonus), or take the 0.0/1.9/2.9% option. They were willing to give
me $13K on my XJ which is up from the $11370 from the first offer. I owe
$10,8xx on the XJ.
So my question is, anyone currently buying a Rubi or very recently bought
one for less than sticker? Whatever happened to Invoice offers? Stickers on
both Rubi's were $30K and change.
Comments Please!

Re: Sticker vs Invoice
I've not been shopping for new jeeps, but from what I've heard they are
selling so well that dealers don't have to sell for invoice. They can sell
for almost full sticker price and still move the jeeps.

Re: Sticker vs Invoice
I bought a new '04 Rubi in January. Got it for $376 over invoice and $2000
cash from DC making the final price $4160 under MSRP plus 0% financing for 4
years on top of that (special cash back + 0% financing offer only in effect
for a short time from Jan-Mar.
Many dealers I talked to in Arkansas and Texas (except the greedy dealer in
my town) were discounting the Rubi as much as any other Wrangler model so I
think you'd be able to buy one for at least a couple thousand off MSRP plus
any other incentives available at the time.

Re: Sticker vs Invoice
You can buy them all day long for invoice, minus the incentives.
