Yes, I agree but what is one to do? Here in the USA we have our share of
dirt bags and our liberal criminal justice system runs hot and cold which
flavor of criminal is in the favor of the bleeding hearts.

It is doubtful they will catch them and my insurance company will only pay
what the OEM lamps would cost because they were an aftermarket add on so I
did not file a claim to add insult to injury.

Insurance companies are in business to make money, if make a claim,
they will just jack your premiums by that amount. Save them for when you
need their attorneys to defend you against frivolous suits.
