Hi Dave,
It only took me about six months to learn my lesson back in '67,
just before I bought my first Real Jeep. It was just like the picture in
the last link. Aluminum body, two six volt batteries, underneath wood
floor boards, positive ground, and couldn't keep the front end aligned.
Yes, I've watched them sell on television's Barrett-Jackson auction.
Bought mine for two grand, sold it for four hundred. But it worked for
transportation during one of my T-Bird engine rebuilds. Another car I
kick myself for selling for seventy five bucks was my '37 woody, which
another sold for half a million dollars:
