Too bad, it is a blast! Up here in Ontario Canada, the law says you have to have a working wiper and no obstructions..... Don't say crap about having glass there.... I have had her up to about 50 mph on a beer run from a trail camp. That was fast enough, the front end just whips the wind at you. Jeff,
California law says: "shall be equipped with an adequate windshield." It doesn't say anything about it having to be in the up position: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc26700.htm I have been ticketed for leaving the windshield back at camp, though. Re: Side Windows in Jeep Wangler
Hi Dave,
It only took me about six months to learn my lesson back in '67, just before I bought my first Real Jeep. It was just like the picture in the last link. Aluminum body, two six volt batteries, underneath wood floor boards, positive ground, and couldn't keep the front end aligned. Yes, I've watched them sell on television's Barrett-Jackson auction. Bought mine for two grand, sold it for four hundred. But it worked for transportation during one of my T-Bird engine rebuilds. Another car I kick myself for selling for seventy five bucks was my '37 woody, which another sold for half a million dollars: http://www.----------.com/woody.jpg God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- Dave Milne wrote: > > never had you down as an Austin Healey man, Bill.
