sensor ID question
looking at a friend's 98 TJ Sahara, I noticed he doesn't have a sensor
I have in my 99 TJ Sport. It's right by where the throttle cable
connects in-I have a small sensor that connects back into my coil pack.
He has a rubber grommet in the socket with no sensor. Can anyone tell
me what that is?
Thanks!

Sounds like the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, assuming that
"where the throttle cable connects in" means the throttle body end of
the cable.
