The AX15 has that "feature" as well. The rebuilder I got mine from
sent along a detailed set of instructions on how to reset the shift rods using a long screwdriver thru the tower when (not if) it locked up coming out of reverse on a cold day. Told him I was going straight synthetic lube and his response was "In the case, disregard all after..." but I suppose it could still happen.
