schackle reversal
Is this a good idea on a 95 wrangle with 5 inches of lift?
what kit would you use? bolt on or weld? thanks |
Re: schackle reversal
I vote against it. The shackle rides much nicer on the street, if you
can stand the front end bottoming on braking. Off road the springs bend easier, usually pulling the driveshaft apart: http://www.----------.com/pullapart.jpg Another opinion: http://jeep.off-road.com/jeep/articl....jsp?id=260281 God Bless America, Bill 0|||||||0 mailto:-------------------- "j" <johnhuebner@yahoo.com> wrote in message news:1171903120.027482.58030@a75g2000cwd.googlegro ups.com... > Is this a good idea on a 95 wrangle with 5 inches of lift? > > what kit would you use? bolt on or weld? > > thanks > -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

Re: schackle reversal
Stay away from a shackle reversal on a YJ. You'll damage your springs much
easier off road. If you are looking for more flex, longer than stock shackles will help. BAD IDEA.
