Re: Rim + tire Question

Ok I was thinking that mike was talking about the tires not fitting on
the rims. So if I get tires that are just as wide as mine I have now
it will be ok?????? Thanks Jamie

Well, not necessarily, and I don't know for certain.

You need to look at stuff that is close to the current tire and see if a
larger tire on the SAME PLANE will run into that stuff.

I've not looked recently, but my recollection is that the springs are very
close to the existing tire, but since the tire and spring move in unison,
there is no problem. If you had a larger tire on the same rim, then you
would have a situation where the tire would strike the object that now moves
when the tire moves, and this would be a probnlem ...

I thought you were informed that you 'can' run 33's on those Moab rims?

You 'were' informed or are being informed now for sure.

The poster(s) stated that 33x12.5's will fit with a steering stop
adjustment only needed and a 33x10.5 will fit with no issues... as long
as you have a lift.

You do 'not' want spacers!
