Of course, you know the Environmental Protection Agency mandates
the air intake to be forward of the radiator cross member on all their
SMOGed vehicles for the last thirty years, solely to improve gas
mileage. My '78 Bronco: http://www.----------.com/freshair.jpg And if
you ever popped the box holding your clogged air filter, you'd see it's
intake is forward of the cross member, too.
