I have bought several of these rentals and they are just like the ones
here...they are all automatics with full doors and cheap wheels... back in
93-95 the batches that I bought had nasty huge spiders living inside the
Jeeps...but I hav'nt had this problem in any of the TJ's

The overnight option is fairly common in small towns like I live in, but
maybe in the "big city" dealers are more reluctant.

My first Jeep , a 2000 XJ, was a Dollar rent-a-car from Hawaii Bought
it in Illinois at a small used car dealer.

I don't think you'll find a rental company in the DC area with a
Wrangler, or even a Jeep dealer that has a Wrangler to rent.
Go over to Leesburg and see the boys at Dulles Jeep. They are
great to deal with and have a hugh inventory. That's where mine
come from. Check out their web site.
