Yes, I've seen the groves in the ball part of the knuckle, but I
haven seen foreign stuff inside, but then it's sooo black and messy
maybe I couldn't tell, but it's still a protection YOU don't have in
your TJ.

Don't have it in my Waggy either, thank heavens. But an open knuckle design
is a lot
easier to keep clean.
