Re: Reliability Anxiety with Jeep
Jeff,
Thank for the words. It helps when you hear these type of testimonies.
I think it as mostly how hard you drive a car and how often you do
standard maintenance. Even a buddy of mine's 'godly' 4Runner blew an
engine at 60 and had the transmission replaced at 100. But, he drives
like a jackrabbit!

Re: Reliability Anxiety with Jeep
Thanks for the advice. I love the way the new Commander looks, nice
and roomy inside, but can take anything I put in its path along the
way. A trip to the mountains on trails, or up to Kansas in the middle
of winter. Dallas is pretty flat so I am looking for a quite ride
(which this is, and a rugged reliable vehicle I can dress up or dress
down!!@!

Re: Reliability Anxiety with Jeep
The Commander will conquer any terrain that a vehicle of its size can.
It can easily and comfortably handle a roadtrip to Kansas in the winter and
a forest road in the summer. However it is not a short wheelbase lifted and
locked rock hopper.
