Bummer, I would try an old socket I thought nothing of that's just
smaller and drive it on, then use an impact. But the way that works for me is to arc weld a bolt to it, usually the heat from the job will make it so a star wrench will spin it off. Most of the time when the lug nuts feel too tight it's really that they were too loose and peined the nut causing it to gull on the way off.
