Hi Scott,
It was assembled in '63:
http://www.specialtyparts.com/vins/55yr71cjvin.htm But as a utility
vehicle it takes the year it was originally sold. My '68 CJ-5 with V6
was actually a '67 with the T90 instead of the T14 Borg Warner
transmission.
