I've got a YJ-91 with the 6 cyl engine (fuelinjected) and it goes easy up to
over 100 mph (160km/h).
But it's not build for highspeeds so i seldom drive more than 60-70 mph.
Don't know why your won't go faster than it does.
Maybe you only have the 4 cyl engine ?

I would do several things.....
1) change out the cap and rotor for larger one like 84 Ford F150 6cyl and
upgrade to an MSD coil.
2) Nutter By-Pass is a MUST.
3) Rebuild the carb and replace every inch of vac line!!!
5)Check or replace the EGR valve
6)If its the orginal cat...replace it
7) Last....timming is everything lol. Not enough advance and your top end
suffers. Then again....too much and BOOM.
