pad length is at least 1" shorter than the old secondary.

I should be okay. I did notice that the RR is in need of an new adjuster
kit. I might as well get another adjuster kit for the RL.

You could exchange them, or at least open the box from a different vendor,
but I don't think it is very important or they couldn't make the change.
There is a huge safety issue with brakes, and any change in design demands a
sign off by somebody that knows much more about htis sort of thing than you
and I. The reality is that the secondary shoe has very little to do with
stopping while going forward.

okay since they are 10" shoes, just that the lead shoe doesn't have
as much sole as the older one. :0) I have a feeling Mopar is just
