Yup, it's either feast or famine. I remember their used to be a
weird taste in my mouth when I deeded sleep. Bet you knew all the back
roads around the scales too.

Re: Diesel...when?
Back roads?? they used to drop the blade of a D-9 & call everything behind
it a road. They paved the road leading to LaPorte the year that I got my own
truck. Everybody thought it was an 8 lane freeway. There were 24 log truck
accidents in the first 2 weeks (head-on's, roll-overs, etc). Everything
settled down after that. It seemed like it took 2 weeks to get used to
things. That's what it took me every summer, after going to school for 2
semesters, to be able to bring my dolly wheels up in the air, just the right
distance, around the turns.
