Re: auto locks
if she has power door locks, I'm about 90% sure the dealer can program them....or it may be only if it has power *remote* locks. Every vehicle I've had with power locks has made a trip to the dealer to have the "auto locking" feature disabled.....damn annoying....but then I don't live in a carjacking prone area.......I've also had them programmed so the horn honks when the doors are locked/unlocked with the remote, etc..... My old Chevy had a spare key in one of those magnetic cases stuck way up the inside of the bed. You had to get under the truck and reach in a couple of feet to get it. |
