I know you probaly already have the 360, but it might be easier to plop a GM 350
in there. You know that'll bolt right up... The '70 Wagoneers used the Buick
350. Did they make any V-8 Commandos?

Look at http://www.ranchojeeprecyclers.com/ for used stuff.
(Or you could go with one of Daimler's later model 4X4s...
