If I am not mistaken they go to each side of the frame and bolt to the cross
member of the plow frame to provide support.

Yes that's been my tactic. I have the other stuff figured out and I am
left with these two.

The only flaw with that approach is that if I find out that these
pieces "stack" on any of the other pieces, my expensive hardened bolts
that I've installed might be too short.
