Re: Question about fuel filter
I'm having some performance issues with my jeep (120k) and I'm just
wondering if a dirty fuel filter could be the culprit. On Sat, 06 Mar 2004 09:33:24 -0500, Mike Romain <romainm@sympatico.ca> wrote: >Whenever the fuel pump dies. With that much milage it's far more likely to be the O2 sensor or a plugged cat. Although reduced fuel flow could be the cause. Check your plugs for excess carbon. If they all show lots of carbon it's your O2 sensor sending a false reading. If just a few are ugly it could be leaky injectors. For that you need to do a pressure leak-down test on the rail. -- -- DougW -- 93 ZJ 4.0 http://members.cox.net/wilsond HESCO Supercharger - 300W IASCA Stereo - Edelbrock IAS Shocks Gibson Exhaust - rear DCpower - custom gauge install - Stillen Rotors |

Re: Question about fuel filter
Where is the fuel filter on a YJ? The TJ is on top of the tank:
