Oh, that old thing? It fell off on a trail one day and I didn't
bother to pick it up. It was always flappin' around in the wind
anyway. heh heh

Re: soft top. ON or OFF in summer ? what do you do ?
In Vancouver you could get away with leaving it off and not worry too much
about the drizzle that would pop up at times....but sometimes it drizzles so
much that you will get algae growing if you're not careful!!
I'm in Central Ontario now and we get some big rumblers crossing the great
lakes, so I can see working that soft top up and down more than a -----s
drawers!
But without AC in the Jeep (ya we know bill...Real Jeeps have 2/70 AC....) I
think I'll need the extra air without the tops!

Re: Q: soft top. ON or OFF in summer ? what do you do ?
I have the stock Whitco soft top and doors that came with my 86 CJ7. It
looks the same as the TJ one, it just works better.
It has a zip up back window that rolls up with straps and side panels
that roll up with straps to make it a safari top covering both the front
and back seat as a sunscreen, just like my owners manual shows.
It snaps all around the bottom and uses a channel on the top of the
windshield.
It is sweet and 'fast' to go up and down. I love it and will replace it
with the same or get this one rebuilt. Forget those new 'fancy' ones,
LOL, I like the easy up and down.

looks the same as the TJ one, it just works better.
