It's the top which connects the anti-sway bar.
How to tell?
Umm the way I noticed it, is when I had
one wheel in a deep hole, the link was seperated
at the joint.

The anti sway bar is a big U shaped bar that goes from each wheel to
each wheel. It has holes on the ends.
