i agree that german shepherds are great dogs. my two outside dogs are
austrailian shepherds, but when my old jeep dog passes my next off roading
partner will be a long haired german shepherd.

I've never had a 'brand name' dog. We always had big dogs, little dogs,
black dogs, brown dogs, spotted dogs, short haired dogs, long hair dogs,
cute dogs, or ugly dogs...
The only things they had in common was that they were free and most commonly
'used'....

I've never had a 'brand name' dog. We always had big dogs, little dogs,
black dogs, brown dogs, spotted dogs, short haired dogs, long hair dogs,
cute dogs, or ugly dogs...
The only things they had in common was that they were free and most commonly
'used'....

I have scars on my nose and chin from a bite on my face when I was about 4
years old.
It was my mother's German Shepherd. He thought he was protecting 'his horse'
from me.

My mother put a bullet in his head the dog, not the horse. She loved that
dog too. I guess she just loved me more.

They aren't large any more, I kind of grew into them then they just blended
into the ugly as I aged but they are still there.

The big airport in my area is buying up all the houses built in the past
couple decades.

Seems these folks claim they did not know there had been an airport there
for decades and when they viewed the model home, toured the neighborhoods,
talked to residents or realtors they never ever looked up as an airliner
flew overhead.... everyone lied to them apparently...
