Hell, I don't even allow our dog in the house... If the weather if *really*
cold, *maybe* I'll put him in a metal crate in the detached garage with a
tarp over the crate... It's got to be around freezing though... That doesn't
happen much around Houston...

You know, I really don't get the mind set of some 'hunters'. No offense
intended, but...

Wolves and bears are a major part of the ecosystem, wolves especially.

Since the US 'hunters' have killed off all it's wolves, the deer
population has gone mad so mother nature is putting a plague through
them so they can't be eaten and they are dying of starvation because of
overpopulation and on and on.

Wolves have been 're-introduced' to the US to try to help with that.
The deer populations need a natural predator and clean up crew to keep
the herds healthy.

Heck we are even giving you some of the last of the Bison that got
chased up to Canada to help get that ecosystem back in order, but it
will never happen like it was.

Aren't you getting some of our elk too?

We still have Bald Eagles as a 'normal' thing to see every day out in
our Rockies.

Hey don't get me wrong.... I will go out and hunt/trap/fish for food if
I need it. I used to hunt with a 20 ga., single shot, 3" mag chamber,
break action, hammer ---- shotgun. Have marksmanship medals from teen
age days at the local Armories with 22 long rifles, so I usually only
need one shot. I only fish when on camping trips for food these days.
I eat what I catch, used to eat everything when I hunted too.

But I sure as 'Hell' won't 'shoot on sight' any critter just for the
shits and giggles of killing something 'I' think is a varmint..... I
won't even kill a 'real' varmint for fun. They have a place too unless
all the wolves that eat them are gone so they over run.....

You know, I really don't get the mind set of some 'hunters'. No offense
intended, but...

Wolves and bears are a major part of the ecosystem, wolves especially.

Since the US 'hunters' have killed off all it's wolves, the deer
population has gone mad so mother nature is putting a plague through
them so they can't be eaten and they are dying of starvation because of
overpopulation and on and on.

Wolves have been 're-introduced' to the US to try to help with that.
The deer populations need a natural predator and clean up crew to keep
the herds healthy.

Heck we are even giving you some of the last of the Bison that got
chased up to Canada to help get that ecosystem back in order, but it
will never happen like it was.

Aren't you getting some of our elk too?

We still have Bald Eagles as a 'normal' thing to see every day out in
our Rockies.

Hey don't get me wrong.... I will go out and hunt/trap/fish for food if
I need it. I used to hunt with a 20 ga., single shot, 3" mag chamber,
break action, hammer ---- shotgun. Have marksmanship medals from teen
age days at the local Armories with 22 long rifles, so I usually only
need one shot. I only fish when on camping trips for food these days.
I eat what I catch, used to eat everything when I hunted too.

But I sure as 'Hell' won't 'shoot on sight' any critter just for the
shits and giggles of killing something 'I' think is a varmint..... I
won't even kill a 'real' varmint for fun. They have a place too unless
all the wolves that eat them are gone so they over run.....
