Pics or Call out of Power Steering bracket assembly w/ MPI

Hi all,

I need pics or a call-out of the power steering bracket assembly for a
Serp Belt on a 258. Can any one take a pic or several pics of theirs at
different angles and send it to me? Or point to some on the web. Or send
me or point me to a call-out of that area.

Mine doesn't seem to be going together as I "think" it should.

thanks,

Bill

Hey thanks Serg. Yes, I have this guy's page along with another and a host
of pics downloaded to my pc. I just don't have a good pic of the finished
bracket assembly of the power steering pump on a serp belt. I basicly have
been told just to make it work.

No prob. I'll work it out.

Thanks for the reply.

Re: Pics or Call out of Power Steering bracket assembly w/ MPI

I would jump in here, but I have a vbelt system, and I don't know that the
brackets are the same or different.

My power steering pump gets a bracket on the front and on the back. I'll
have to look at it more closely to be sure, but my recollection is that
there are two brackets that sandwich the body of the pump. I actually think
that only one of the brackets holds the pump on, the other is itself a
bracket that held the air pump for the cold air injectors (part of the old
smog system).

I'll take a second look ant my power steering and describe the brackets. I
seem to remember having to put in a couple of washers, and I seem to
remember there was a spacer of about an inch or inch and a half that was
needed too.
