Patriot
I keep hearing about the Patriot. Reviews online, ads now online and
on TV. I've been wheeling through the local Jeep dealerships in the (yet unsuccessful) hope to see a model sitting out back waiting to be prepped and put on display in the showroom. Has anyone *seen* one yet, let alone had a test drive? I'd be interested to know about its towing capability, if any. Mark '93 XJ |

It is about the same size as the old XJ, but if I remember from what the Jeep people said, it only comes with 4cyl. engine,2.0L or 2.4L. and is front wheel drive. I don't even think that a tow-package is available for it. I had asked about the possibility of it being a towed vehicle, (behind motorhome) and the answer on that is no. Kevin in Iowa 99XJ |

Re: Patriot
They just had the local auto show in Raleigh last weekend and I hoped to
see one, but they didn't have one. Had some of the worlds oldest show cars though, including the Jeep Hurricane. The Detroit International Auto Show it wasn't! Jeff DeWitt Mark E.
