Nope, I curently have a Subaru WRX and it's rated for 1,000 lbs.
A Manual Jeep would be 2,000 lbs. tho.

it is. and the 6x6 version pushes a bit when you try to corner (obviously).
its not "hard" to steer it, but the turning radius is significant more than
on the 4x4 version.

sweet! what part? i still plan on making it to montana, but for now ill
take rapid city just to make it out of north carolina.

alt.atv? look in the archives. the rhino has been discussed at length in
there. course, it was all speculation and guessing at that point since the
entire project was still in R & D. mine was supposedly the first one sold
in north carolina (according to my local dealer). seems the wifey had been
waiting on the phone call for when it was delivered and she watched them
assemble the last few pieces of it before bringing it home.

I'm in New England so Ontario is a few hours away. But thanks for the
offer. If I go up that way I'll give you a yell. My last time at the
border was no fun at all. They held me for 2 hours because I was
single guy travelling alone. So Canada hasn't seen any of my money in
quite a while. I used to go up for a couple of days every 2 months or
so. But no more not with the attitude they have at the border.
I scared the Jeep salesman at thedealership when they let me test out
a new Jeep on their back lot. This is back about 10 years ago. Hey we
got airborne only twice!
That's what you get for having a MotoCross track in your back lot. :)

That's pretty steep. I've been up steeper ones but the guy driving was
big into offroad and worked a Dozer for a living. He said somethng
about if you aren't seeing the sky the hill isn't high enough.
I saw the way he drove at work and they would go back and forth on
inclines that would tip over most vehicles that tried to go straight
up. Take Big Brass ones to do that stuff.

Here we need insurance on everything and registrations as well.
The snowmobiles are getting killed wth no insurance. I guess many
won't insure anything over 600cc's.
Insurance companies are bastards anyway.

That's all I have seen around here at least they are only a year or so
old. The dealers know it's togh to sell snowmobiles without snow. We
saw some snow and rain mix today so it will probably be a white
winter.
I'd love to try a Rev 1. Maybe someone will have them for rent this
year?

That's all I have seen around here at least they are only a year or so
old. The dealers know it's togh to sell snowmobiles without snow. We
saw some snow and rain mix today so it will probably be a white
winter.
I'd love to try a Rev 1. Maybe someone will have them for rent this
year?

Yeah you wouldn't need much speed, an electric should be fine.

Oh yeah if you are blazing your own trail you want to do it slowly.

So you all go up in the Argo together?
Sounds like nice country up there.

I thought they were about $8-9,000 USD?
Here we need insurance on everything and registrations as well.
The snowmobiles are getting killed wth no insurance. I guess many
won't insure anything over 600cc's.
Insurance companies are bastards anyway.
