OK, just downloaded Netscape. Migrated all my mail and address book...
added newgroups as well... pretty sweet! Will move othe email accounts
tomorrow and maybe use IM as well...

Some years ago when AOL bought Netscape and put all kinds of spy
ware on it, it was agonizingly slow, so I went back to 4.78 which I'm
using here. I also have 7.01 installed if there's some flash or some
other Windows stuff I want to view, but that's all as a C:\>netstat -a
will bring up ten's of ISPs monitoring my machine. And of course I have
what you use, which I try to stay away from, because even with the
currant updates from: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ I may send
an old renamed Melissa:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ven...sa.u.gen1.html and
destroy your machine without you even opening that mail, bypassing
Norton.

Try Mozilla 1.7. Its Netscape with no AOL spyware. Tabbed browsing,

blocks popups, junk mail filtering, javascipt config, ...
