You know, I actually try to scare, and I'm pretty sure I was
successful by the way the test instructor had both his hands wrapped
tightly around mine, once I pulled the pin.
And that reminds me of another time I scare the heck out of the
night clerk I was to turn in my 45 to, I waved it back in forth in front
of him. I had already unchambered and pulled the clip, but he couldn't
see that. :-) I think it was my way of getting even for having to work
the radio shack on a weekend.

An older friend of mine lived in Austria as a teenager just after WWII.
He tells of finding and using abandoned bazooka style and mortor style
weapons. I'm sure I'd have been tempted if I had the opportunity at that
age.
