Re: SADDAM CAPTURED ALIVE!!!
Mike,
Those people in that country have never experienced a leader that was
just or a nation that was whole. They can't even wipe their *** without help
right now. To expect them to conduct a fair and organized trial and dish out
a fitting punishment is unrealistic. I think the US is right in feeling a
bit weary of simply handing him over to the Iraqi people. I mean look...you
don't see any Jeep wranglers/CJs over there do you, those people are out of
touch! (had to throw in some NG content ;-) ). Maybe you didn't see the
celebration in Bagdad, but generally people are happy. Those who are not
happy over there are the minority and have never been exposed to anything
good except for what they believed in Saddam. We are an occupying force make
no mistake about and and we will slowly relinquish power over to the Iraqis
when they start getting their ---- together. It took 11 years I believe
before Germany was finally handed over to the people. Good things will
happen over there, be patient.

Re: SADDAM CAPTURED ALIVE!!!
In that part of the world, I believe that one traditional punishment is
removal of hands.. sounds like a start to me.. and no, I have not seen any
Jeep Wranglers in the news shots, but I did see a Toyota Landcruiser.. the
question is this.. was it a 'real' Toyota?.. lol
The point (Jeep) is that we have enough enemies over there as it is (4.0
I6), so if we take away the chance for the Iraqis to get there (nv242) own
back on Saddam, they may hate us even (Quadra-trac) more.. and it is not
just the Iraqis that will or do hate us (Liberty not a real Jeep?!! - shock
horror) already.. if he is gonna be executed (4.5" lift), it is better that
the Iraqis do it themselves.. (2005 Grand Cherokee gets IFS?!! -
MERCY!!!!!!!!!)..

removal of hands.. sounds like a start to me.. and no, I have not seen any
Jeep Wranglers in the news shots, but I did see a Toyota Landcruiser.. the
question is this.. was it a 'real' Toyota?..

Re: SADDAM CAPTURED ALIVE!!!
In that part of the world, I believe that one traditional punishment is
removal of hands.. sounds like a start to me.. and no, I have not seen any
