OT: PING------> L. W. (Bill) ------ III
Hey Bill,
I know you were big into the sand dune stuff a time ago. I recently got
my hands on a 1971 Bill Stroppe Baja Bronco and was wondering if you
were familiar with them and what you knew about them. I know some people
ran them in the sand in "the day" and thought you might have run across
them. They were all two tone red/white with a blue roof and a black hood.

Ok, so I don't have a Real Jeep, but at least I have a Real Bronco, LOL!
Yep, I've seen Jeff's. Pretty stunning resto. I got mine out in the high
desert up by Palmdale and drove it back to Tx this weekend. They made
the Real Bronco from 66-77 and this tuner modified Baja from 71-74.

You were out here in Kalifornia? That's like thirty six hours of
driving, of once you clear Texas you're half way here.
I meant "Real" as far as Broncos are concerned. It still has the
coil front end, and Actor James Garner with his big bucks couldn't do
anything with while he raced the Baja 1000:

Re: OT: PING------> L. W. (Bill) ------ III
