Re: OT newsreader questions- The Merg=pinged
Umm...so I got Thunderbird for the Ibook, set up the newsfeed, and
tried to post...but I got an 'address not found in internet syntax'
message. What gives?

Oh, and I can read stuff, it just won't let me post. Do I need to
change the settings somewhere, since it won't allow binaries?

Very likely you are trying to post in HTML. I am still not 100% sure I
have thunderbird posting in text only....
I would try 'tools', options, composition, general and send option and
put the text only site's address in the box shown for it.

I would try 'tools', options, composition, general and send option and
