: Yeah, I thought so.
: We re-financed the house at a better rate. The payment went up like
: $100, but we did away with $250 of other payments, and we got the loan
: for the same amount of time we had left on the old loan, so we'll

: tax-deductable, unlike that POS 22% credit card I just burned :-)
:
That's great! Especially when you weigh interest rates, payments and the
time left till payoff.
We still have 28 years to go on this house. Ugh.
Maybe once the other stuff is paid off we will be able to pay it off sooner.
Though on thinking of it, I wonder why. It will just make less in my pocket
and more for the kids to inherit.
Screw that, I'd rather spend my children's inheritance.

Well, the appraiser gave us another little present. Seems in the
almost 10 years I've had the place, the value's doubled.
Even with the new loan, I've got almost as much equity as I paid
originally.
Our plan is to pay it off before retirement(I'll be 64 in 10 years),
then sell it and spend the money touring the US on our bikes.
I'm with you...let the kids work for their own damn money!

Got Dirt?
BYOM (Bring Your Own Mud!)
Just add water.
YEA!
DirtKeys
We could market them as a defence against your friends teasing that your
Jeep is too clean,
you could hold up your DirtKey in self defence and threaten them with a
bottle of designer water.
