Basic things require kernel rebuilds... That sucks. If no changes are
needed it will run forever but it is far from easy to use.

Most things do not require kernel rebuilds; but even if you do have to
recompile a kernel, its easy to do.

Redhat is not my favorite Linux distro, but it is not a POS. For a Redhat
type Linux distro I like Mandrake and recommend that to friends learning
Linux/Unix.

Most things do not require kernel rebuilds; but even if you do have to
recompile a kernel, its easy to do.

Redhat is not my favorite Linux distro, but it is not a POS. For a Redhat
type Linux distro I like Mandrake and recommend that to friends learning
