The four cylinder Wranglers are 2.5 liters, and the new model engine is one
of those overhead cam things. It might even be clean enough for Europe. I
have had the older overhead valve engine in my 1995 for twelve years, and I
have no complaints. I would not recommend trying to drive it with four
adults in city traffic though.
