Whatever they cost; I had good jobs that paid actual money.
Cheater slicks and slicks, ~$20-$25 in the SFValley.
> Oh you didn't own a car did you?
No, I didn't. I owned a truck.
1934 Ford pickup, '48 Merc 296 flathead, twin-2s, 3/4 race cam, Edelbrock,
etc.
Now shut up some more.

Re: OT: AWESOME!!!
Cheater slicks didn't begin to be capped until the mid sixties,
over ten years after I started driving legally. Before that we used
950X14 or 820X15 Cadillac tires.

I guess even then you were out of the loop, didn't know where to get
things, and didn't have google to save your pathetic hide.
You're a very faulty spark-plug, poofter, you keep missing.
Now shut up, loser, and since your parents never taught you, I'll
tell you: don't speak until you are spoken to.

Re: OT: AWESOME!!!
That rail car pictured I raced at Pomona '62 and that was as wide a
tire as I could buy! There was nothing was wider than about seven inches
until the eight inch recaps newer than '65. A typical car for '65:

sh*t than a Christmas turkey!
