Sounds like what the farmers in Wisconsin were using to discourage
snowmobilers when I was up there in the 70's. It got tense at one
point when one hit a single strand barbed wire fence that cut his
throat - they tried to hang the farmer. The only way he got off was
that the fence was rigged as an electrictrfied pasture enclosure to
keep the cattle in and had been in place for several years so they
couldn't show any intent to injure the poor trespasser.

Re: OT: ATV Rage
Sounds like what the farmers in Wisconsin were using to discourage
snowmobilers when I was up there in the 70's. It got tense at one
point when one hit a single strand barbed wire fence that cut his
throat - they tried to hang the farmer. The only way he got off was
that the fence was rigged as an electrictrfied pasture enclosure to
keep the cattle in and had been in place for several years so they
couldn't show any intent to injure the poor trespasser.
