Hi Dave,
It was north of Salton Sea Way road, about mid way between Borrego Springs, and the Salton Sea, California. Centered in this map: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...33&mqmap.y=151 The trail lead to an old mining ghost town, we had to walk the last mile, which is why it still had all the old equipment and stuff like an old one cylinder two flywheel engine I would have like to have taken. I think, thanks to our bleeding heart liberals, the area is now closed to even hikers.
