All I can tell you is my Brother's is a V12, the one pictured. It
has two computers that sit on each valve cover, that are regularly
replaced, one at a time every other month, at a thousand each. Also he
can't keep it aligned.

your brother's is the 5 litre then.
The 7 series do have a reputation for electrical unreliability....
