Re: OT-Nathan is a poser
Nathan,
I got $4,500 cash from a neighbor this morning. It was what we paid for it.
I made you something. Click on the "Letter to Registered Voters, Town of
Silverton" link. Think about what it would be like, to be one of the people
named in the letter, and know that everyone else in town was reading it too.

Re: OT-Nathan is a poser
That should have been about fifteen hundred more than you paid for
a '73 brand spanking new, at least in Southern California. I paid
nineteen for a '72 4X4 F100 new.

Re: Back to Jeep stuff--Finally!
I paid about $11,000 for my Wrangler new in 1994. It had the hard top, seat
upgrade, rear seat, console, carpet and cassette player. I got an extra
soft top at the time too. Then I found out about the difference, between YJ
half doors and YJ full doors. It took me a couple years, to straighten that
mess out.
It looks as if a new one, with a soft top only, lists for about $18,500.
Mine is only now getting broken in with 80,000 miles on it.

Re: Back to Jeep stuff--Finally!
Yes, after about '75 they started go up pretty fast, I guess
because of SMOG as wages were in a down hill slide while Carter was in.
