Re: oil pressure sending unit on jeep 304
The fitting going into the head is a 'pipe thread' fitting I believe.
The missing switch is an oil pressure switch for things like the choke
or electric carb heater. It only allows power to pass when you have oil
pressure so you can't cook the choke with just the key on instead of
running.

bin? I should have two from two bad engines.

If you have extras that would be great. I have the sender unit, but trying
to get anything like the other part locally can be frustrating for me. It
seems that all the part stores in town have 19 yr old employees that don't
know about anything but neon lights and downforce wings for the trunk lid.
