Re: oil filter mount

I'm looking at an '89 for $1k that's owned by a guy my dad works with.
The body and frame are pretty much rust free (except for some surface
rust on some hinges, but who cares). He says the 4.2L runs, but it
needs a starter and battery. Of course, it's been sitting for 3+ years,
so who knows. If I don't buy it, I'll let you know. This guy's pretty
lazy (as evidenced by him leaving his jeep sit for 3 years just because
the starter went), so I'm pretty sure he hasn't advertised it at all.
He's pretty much waiting for us to make a move.
Richmond's only about an hour and a half from here.

Re: oil filter mount

You're at the top of the list.
I want it, but it'll come down to the finances. The decision will
probably be made next Friday (payday).
If I buy it, I'll post to let everyone know of my great fortune. If I
don't buy it, I'll post (or just email you) to let you know the details.
Hell, if I don't benefit from this, I figure a true Jeeper ought to.
