Thassa only about as bright as a normal headlight... Aircraft landing
lights are what folks who want to see waayyyyy out there tend to use.

Yeah, but if he adds a set of pedals, he might be able to
pedal fast enough to get about another quarter horsepower or
so...

Or similar. Another good one if you can find it is the old
rally light, the Cibie Super Oscar. Hella, Cibie, and oddly
enough Lucas all make good rally lights, which is what y'all
appear to be looking for, also used in desert offroading
races.
