We put them on because I think the stock headlights are terrible. We
only use the driving lights when we go out to the lake. There's almost
100 miles of road where thick bush comes right up to the side of the
road leaving lttle or no shoulder.
We've seen all kinds of wildlife come out of there from rabbits, to
Lynx, skunks, foxes and even a moose. The lights are aimed in such a
way that they light up the bush more than the road.

All of the Navy aircraft I work on are 28VDC. The only 12VDC system I have
ran across is in an UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle).
