About half the books call it a Crankshaft Position Sensor:

Kelly,
Haynes has finally come out with a repair manual for years past 1997 up
to 2000 (actually it's "87 - 00). If you really want to do it up right
get the 'shop repair manual for about $90. The phone number and adress
used too posted in the back of owners manuals but I don't see one now.
It's located on McNichols Rd. in Detroit. They are also available on
EBay. Anyone have a link to a shop manual on EBay?

Haynes has finally come out with a repair manual for years past 1997 up
to 2000 (actually it's "87 - 00). If you really want to do it up right
get the 'shop repair manual for about $90. The phone number and adress
used too posted in the back of owners manuals but I don't see one now.
